White Wing Farm Bed & Breakfast

 

Whitewing Farm is a 1700's Pennsylvania farm house with greenhouses,
flower gardens, a barn and stables, a guest cottage on a pond and a carriage house, all situated on 43 rolling acres in historic Southern Chester County.

The Gathering Room

We've recently completed renovations to the original Hay Barn. Enjoy a hearty breakfast of sautéed apples on an English muffin or pancakes with fresh raspberry sauce.

The Library

After a busy day touring the beautiful Brandywine Valley Countryside, relax in our comfortable library located upstairs from the Gathering Room.

Game Room

As summer fades, the woods and hills are ablaze with the red, yellow and rust colors of autumn. Relax and enjoy some conversation with friends and colleagues in our richly appointed Game Room.

The Clydesdale Suite

Our newest addition is the Saddle Barn which is home to two beautifully appointed suite rooms including the Clydesdale shown here.

Carriage House Rooms

Marvel at the elegance of the carriage house with vaulted ceilings in the Paddock Room, a private deck in the Daily Review Room and marble floors in all the bathrooms.

Gate House Suite

Experience the elegance of our very private Gate House Suite or the Main House Suite, both beautifully decorated and both with fireplaces.

The Stable Rooms

Situated near our rose garden and green house are The Stable Rooms. You're sure to appreciate their unique furnishings and cozy location.

The Pond Room

You may want to stay in one of our Pond House Rooms and enjoy the beauty of orange and yellow daylilies. Listen to the quiet croaking sounds of Fat's and Fanny Wallow, our resident frog family.

Tennis Court

For some challenging recreational activity... enjoy a game, set, or match of tennis on our Tennis Court with Tennis Pavilion. Or play a round of golf on our chip and putt golf course.

Pool & Jacuzzi

Our pool and heated 6 person jacuzzi is a wonderful way for you and guests to relax from head to toe while you continue to enjoy our breathtaking scenery.

Directions and Map

Whitewing Farm is located adjacent to Longwood Gardens near the
intersection of Route 52 and 926 in West Chester, Pennsylvania.

We are 2 hours south of New York City and
2 hours north of Washington D.C.

Whitewing Farm is situated within the heart of the
Brandywine Valley and is the perfect place to stay
when visiting the areas most popular attractions.

From the North:

Go South on the New Jersey Turnpike to Exit 2. Go on Rt. 322 West over the
Commodore Barry Bridgeto PA (You will be on Rt. 322 for 6 miles then you
will be at bridge). Cross bridge and take I-95 South. You are only on I-95 for
.7 of a mile. Take Exit 3A off I-95 to Rt. 322 West. Continue for 7.4 miles
on 322 West to the intersection of Rt. 1 South. Follow for 7.1 miles and make
a right hand turn onto Rt. 52 North. Continue on 52 North for approximately
1.2 miles (you will pass Rt. 926). Make first left after 926 onto Valley Road.
Follow approximately .8 of a mile. Whitewing Farm will be on the right.

From the South:

Take I-95 North to Wilmington, Delaware. Take Delaware Ave. Exit 7 and
turn left onto Delaware Ave. for 2 blocks then at fork, bear left to Pennsylvania Ave.
(also Rt. 52). Follow Rt. 52 North for approximately 4 miles. You will pass
Winterthur Museum on right, another mile on left will be Buckley's Tavern. Travel
another 3 miles north on Rt. 52 to Rt. 1. At intersection of Rt. 1 and Rt. 52 make
left onto Rt. 1 South. Follow for .8 of a mile and make a right hand turn to continue
onto Rt. 52 north. Follow Rt. 52 for approximately 1.2 miles (you will pass Rt. 926).
Make first left after 926 onto Valley Road. Follow approximately .8 of a mile.
Whitewing Farm will be on the right.

Check in time: 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Late check in discouraged.

All room rates subject to 8% PA tax, are per room, per couple.

One night’s deposit is required to secure reservations, balance required at time of check in. Two-week cancellation policy in effect. If we are able to rebook the room, a refund less $15.00 will be made.
